Dr. Yener Demirtaş, born in 1974, is a renowned Turkish plastic surgeon who completed his education in worldwide reputable universities. He has near 100 international publications, over 100 international invited conferences and more than 10 international awards.

Dr. Demirtaş has been interested in lipedema treatment since 2007. During this period, he used all kinds of liposuction techniques for the treatment of lipedema including dry, superdry, wet, superwet, tumescant, WAL (water assisted), UAL (ultrasound assisted), PAL (power assisted) and lazer liposuction. Despite the good results he obtained, he never stopped searching for the best technique. For the last 8 years, Dr. Demirtas has been using the technique developed by himself which he calls “Lymph Saving VASER Liposuction”. Though, he refines his technique in every occasion and the search for the perfection of lipedema treatment has not finished yet, he thinks.
